This could be BIG

How does an otherwise dot-on-the-map small town gain some recognition ? Besides school cafeteria shootings, having the world's largest anything for people to come oggle over is one way.

Hundreds of small towns across the country boast the "world's largest" something. The rural landscape is peppered with these claims to fame, from 15-foot fiberglass strawberries to 40-foot concrete pheasants. Two filmmakers have just finished a one-hour documentary about the small towns and their struggles to maintain their identity.

The narrative through line will be the story of Soap Lake, WA, and their three year struggle to build the World's Largest Lava Lamp.

World's Largest surveys this distinctly American phenomenon by profiling selected sites across the country and discovering what significance these monuments hold for the communities that display them.

I Call it a Must See.
