Cool Band-Aids



I don't know which I like best, the Kissie Band-Ads or the Strip of Bacon. Both are so cool. I need to order some and hope that friends have need of one whilst at my house. I won't let them know it is a special band-aid if it is on a part of the body that they can't see, I'll just offer to assist. What Fun !

The strip of bacon is so cool! How about a big one shaped like a steak - remember how they used to put a steak over a black eye? The possibilities are endless! They could make hickey band-aids for those of us who would, by this age, be immune to hickeys! Or hopefully, men who gave them. Well, I'll have to think about that one. I swear, I have a good friend who said she burned her neck with the curling iron. Of course, I gave her unmerciful hell about it! Hope your trip to Mem. goes well, and maybe the rain & cold will be cleared out by then. I think the w/e is supposed to be nice. Happy driving!

I photographed this small weeping shrub in Pensacola in a front yard. The purple flowers and orange berries were present at the same time on this georgous plant. The same yard had some of the same species but with white flowers that were not nearly as vibrant. It looked great in spite of a very dry summer and it is planted close to salt water. Color Change Paint Job

I spotted another car with one of those awesome paint jobs that change colors are you drive past. I used to see one with a different set of hues parked in from of a local vinyl liner pool company here in Gulf Shores. This is what I'd like on my VW Thing, but I want coral and peach shades so it look like a woman's fingernail polish rack at the nail salon. Anyone know anything about this type of paint job ? What is it called ? What's it cost. Where do you go to get it ?

Miller's Birthday Today

Today would have been Miller's 26th B'Day. Here are some birthday photos from his 11th and his 15th birthday and a few others. In one he has on some of his Grandaddy's vintage Lily Pulitzer pants. In another he was so proud of the size of the catfish that he caught that he was holding the cat for size comparison. He only bleached his hair once. He walked into the room with the cat and put it on his head, but it didn't work out as planned and I always thought it was one of the funniest photos of him I ever took. Miller was the most brilliant, funny, charming, thoughtful, & loving person I have ever known. He was finishing up Grad School and had every pilot's certification possible for his age when he died. There is no telling what he would be doing today had he lived. We all miss him so.
